The 2018 Leadership Conference

 

The mission of the conference is to strengthen leadership capacity for businesses, non-profit organizations and volunteer sectors.  

Our Goal

When The Leadership Centre was established, it was at a time that there was a high turnover in Executive Director-type roles. Our goal has been to build capacity in the community to ensure that competent people have the necessary resources to step into those roles, as well as to ensure that there is a better understanding between the different sectors as to how we rely on each other and can help each other grow.

At the conference, our goal is to provide you with insights on what it takes to become and influential leader within your community along with new skills you can apply immediately. This conference is a way for you to invest in yourself while building upon and developing new leadership skills in an experiential learning environment. 

What You'll Receive

At the Leadership Conference 2018, you will have the opportunity to network with leaders of various industries and to learn what skills allowed our keynote speakers become highly effective leaders. We designed to conference atmosphere to provide attendees with  experiences that you cannot get online. When you leave this the conference you will have skills and knowledge you can immediately tap into to advance your career or business.

You will also receive a special opportunity to join our year round leadership program. This program is designed to build upon the foundation you set at this conference and gives you access to a group of mentors year round. 

Who is this for?

This conference is designed for current and developing leaders. If you are currently in a leadership position, this conference is a way for you to network and improve upon your current skill set. It also is a great opportunity for you to grow your team and their skill set so that your business has the capacity to grow. 

If you are a developing leader within your organization, this conference provides you the opportunity to learn how other leaders became successful while developing relationships with future mentors. We designed this conference as a way to help you maximize your potential and to accelerate your career.

TICKET TRANSFERS & REFUNDS POLICIES:

Transfers:

You purchased a ticket and now are unable to attend the Conference? We are happy to transfer your ticket to another person's name.  

Please email the following information to office@theleadershipcentre.ca:

Your name & contact number, the person you'd like your ticket transferred to, their email, phone number, place of employment.

If transferring a non-profit ticket to a person who works in the public or private sector, please note that they will need to pay the ticket cost difference.

Refunds:

Our first choice is for you to locate someone who would like to use your ticket (because it's going to be a great Conference this year!), but if you need to refund your ticket:

Cancellation before August 18th - your purchase price will be returned to you minus a $30.00 administration fee

Cancellation between August 18th and September 4th - half of your ticket price will be refunded

Cancellation after September 4th - there will be no refunds
